Lismore...

Is a very cool place. Literally. It's foggy outside, and although not particuarly cold, it feels as though it should be. Hence cool.
I'm presently sitting on my bed some 859km from my home, and 841km from my wife. (Interestingly, my wife is 80km from our home. Whereis directions! Go figure!)
I'm up here with work - doing some IT support and web site development. Well... I came up here thinking that I was going to be working on one website... and worked on that for about 20 minutes... and now I'm designing a completely new website. It's going to be fun, but it is also very time consuming. And when I say time consuming, I mean very time consuming. I'm desinging a complete eCommerce & product security/distrubtion interface by Friday. And it needs to integrate with predetermined accounting systems. It will be fun. NOT!

But anyway... I get to re-integrate a whole lot of stuff on one site that I removed one week ago. YES folks, one week. But I blab.

On other work news, I've moved webmail and database admin behind a secure server. This is very good news, as now important sensitive stuff can be kept hidden from prying eyes. I also have this really cool TV guide widget but every three or four minutes it donwloads the TV guide. This is getting quite annoying would you believe. It's not that I mind it downloading, I just mind seeing it in the background. Oh - and in other news, internet connections provided by Telstra in the country suck. And the weather dashboard has been updated.

Our house is (relatively) tidy at the moment. The kitchen is clean, and the bedrooms are better than average. I'm excited by that.

Anyway - given this is a long blog, I don't imagine that I shall be blogging again for... well... another three weeks or so... so make the most of it... I hope my mindless rabble is not completely boring and you do make something.

Presently it is 12 degrees and raining in Sydney.
